Co-Cathedral of St. Antimo: built in 1377, by the Pisan master Piero del Grillo, stands on the foundations of an ancient place of worship perhaps the thirteenth century. The red brick facade is topped by a series of hanging arches that break the severity of the building, below an oculus. The door is surmounted by a lunette containing a mosaic depicting the archangel Gabriel.
 
The Palazzo Comunale, Palazzo dei Priori or the Community in the ancient, was erected in 1444 by Nanni di Magio by the will of the Elders of Piombino that until that year gathered in the ancient Palazzaccio, building we are not received probably located at the corner of Trapalazzi street, now Via Giuseppe Garibaldi.
